DNAvaccine.com Recognizes: Dr. Robert W. Malone, MD

This week DNAvaccine.com recognizes Dr. Robert W. Malone, MD  for his significant contributions to the DNA vaccine field.  We will be sending a small gift in appreciation for all you do.

Dr. Malone is an internationally recognized physician and scientist, and was one
of the original inventors of “DNA Vaccination”, (1989, together with Drs. D Carson,
P Felgner and G Rhodes) as well as non-viral (naked DNA) gene therapy (together
with Drs. P Felgner and J Wolff). Additional original contributions includes seminal
work in mRNA delivery, non-viral delivery to lung and liver, electroporative gene
delivery to skin and lung, and the use of alphaviral vectors for eliciting mucosal
immune responses.  He holds numerous fundamental domestic and foreign patents in
the fields of non-viral gene delivery, delivery formulations, and vaccines and
has over fifty publications. He has been an invited speaker at over thirty conferences,
has chaired numerous conferences and he has sat on numerous study sections. He is
licensed to practice Medicine in Maryland, USA.  Currently, Dr. Malone focuses on
advanced development of vaccines, biologicals, and medical countermeasures, and
he offers consulting services via his own consulting company RW Malone MD LLC, the
Beardsworth Consulting Group Inc. (clinical development), and Galloway and Associates
(DoD Government affairs).
